Orders paid by credit cards are processed through our processing company, Pivotal Payments, transmitted on a secure server (SSL), certified by Comodo.

Eco-Friendly-Footwear.ca makes every effort to protect your online ordering information by using industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. SSL Certificates enable our customers to complete transactions with the assurance that no one else can read or change information as it travels over the Internet.

 To check the security of your connection, at the checkout page, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window after accessing the server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser), then SSL is active. You can also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https". Some versions of browsers and some firewalls do not permit communication even though the server is secure.

To facilitate this process, we ask that you place your order as usual, but click on the Cheque/Money order option, and indicate in the Comments box that you wish to pay using your credit card by telephone. Upon generation of the order in our system we will both receive an email with order details, including total dollar amount. We will then contact you for your credit card information.
